A blessed life... is what she called it...: Better late than never.. Right?? :)

Today marks the day that my sweet girl is 10 Months old. Man time does fly by!! Or least it seems these months are flying by. She is one of a kind for sure! Our newest news is she just welcomed two new teeth and now has a total of 4! Stella bell as some call her is enjoying life crusing her walker around the house, pushing her walker toy, walking along furniture, getting into everything, dancing to whatever music is playing ( doesnt even need to by music , just a rhythm of something... like the printer ,printing stuff ..lol ) and of course the never ending of playing with daddy's Stereo which is a nono, but she isn't getting that picture yet!

I have been terrible about updating our Blog. But im a super busy mom and ill get to it when I can. At least ill tell that to my self to make me feel a little better.. I guess!

Recap on the last few months. Since our last Posting, We have traveled alot and spent time with our families on the east and west coast. Stella enjoyed her 1st Beach trip to Garden City Beach SC and also ate plenty of sand! She got to spend lots of time with Meme & Papa, and her favorite auntie Hill came to visit too. She brought along her Jo Jo :) which will soon be called Unkie Jo Jo or something to that nature. Cousin Hailey from GA also got to come spend time with Stella and the rest of us. It was really a great trip. Nathan and I even got to go on a couple baby free dates :) Papa & Meme let Stella pretend drive the Gold cart and she just loved that. Nathan and I also really enjoyed passing the baby off in the early mornings when sweet stella awoke around 6 am. She would entertain Papa & Meme, while mommy and daddy got a few extra hours of sleep. Man I sure miss that .. lol It was really really hot in Garden City, but we made the best of it with Cold drinks, a big tent on the beach and the fabolous game of Bean Bag toss !! Uncle David and Aunt Mary also spent time with us along with my best girl friend also named Alicia. We went boat riding and Nathan even ate Sushi!! He is hooked! We had a wonderful 4th of July out on the Beach. We welcome the troops coming home from over seas by all standing on the beach waving with our red , white and blue on. Couldn't have imagined a more wonderful time.

We then traveled to Castle Rock WA and then to Long Beach WA for some family fun time with Nathan's family. Stella had a ball playing with her Cousins Ruby and Reagan. I'll have to admit I was alittle nervous at first bc Reagan wasn't used to being around smaller babies and she was making sure Stella new who was boss. But after a few days Reagan warmed up to Stella and began kissing her on the head and being really sweet. Ruby of course was having a great time getting the smaller kids to do things her way!! Kids, they are just soo funny. Cousin Ruby loves to play waitress and feed the babies pretend food. Its really fun to watch! It was Grammy Karen's 60th birthday and we all had a wonderful time together. Auntie Shannon was their with unlcle Ben and good news is THEY ARE HAVING A BABY!! We are excited for them and looking forward to the arrival of the newest addition to the Roubicek family in Feb 2013. Uncle Derrek and Auntie Sarah were there with us as well. We really enjoyed bonding time, eating great food and hanging out on the West Coast Beach ( which is much different than in SC).

After our block leave ended we Settled back into our lives at Fort Irwin. It really is hard adjusting after being with family and freinds and then coming back. As soon as we Got back we got Great news!! Nathan was selected to start his Captain Career Course in Dec 2012. Which means we will be leaving soon! We will start our journey back to the East Coast on November 9th! Its bittersweet! We have enjoyed our time here, and are blessed beyond words to have had our sweet baby here, but its time for a change!

We are counting down the months and days till we Depart! We have friends that we have made here that will be going to GA to , so thats exciting. The tough part is saying bye to all our other friends we've made. But we will just say See you later.. Bc you just never know where the Army will send you! The next big time coming up is Nathan's 28th Birthday, Our 2nd year Wedding anniversary and Stella's 1st Birthday!! Wow lots to look forward to.
